Fun with Bear Paws Morning Snacks & GIVEAWAY (CANADA) #FeedTheFun

I'm so excited to be a part of the Bear Paws Morning Snack "Feed the Fun" blog tour, because Bear Paws are such a big part of our family.  For almost 3 years, we have relied on Bear Paws as a go-to snack, a sidekick in lunches, and a special treat.  When our daughter had a life threatening allergic reaction to peanuts almost 3 years ago, our lives had to change.  We immediately began cleaning out the food in our house and reading labels on all food products.

There were so many snacks that we could no longer keep in the cupboard, due to "contains peanuts", "may contain peanuts", manufactured in a facility that process peanuts", etc. and we really try to keep snacks that are not only tasty, but nutritious as well.  It was hard at first, but the one snack that stood out from the rest and that both of our kids absolutely loved, was Bear Paws.  With that peanut-free logo stamped on the front of the box, the soft, chewy texture, tasty flavours, and nutritional benefits; we were thrilled!  Ever since then, Bear Paws has a permanent place on the shelf in our cupboard.  They ride along in my son's lunch to be enjoyed at his peanut-free school, and they're ready and waiting for my daughter to enjoy anytime of the day.

Bear Paws now has a delicious morning snack that makes it even easier to wake up in the morning and grab something filling and nutritious.  Great as a snack before school!  There's 5 flavours to enjoy such as Cereal & Apple, Cereal & Raspeberries, Cereal & Strawberries, as well as 2 new flavours: Cereal & Blueberry Yogurt and Cereal & Vanilla Yogurt.    They're all available in 189g cartons with 6 x 32g convenient pouches at major grocery stores across Canada.  They're also very affordable at a suggested retail price of $2.99.

Our family is absolutely loving the new Blueberry and Vanilla Cereal & Yogurt varities.  Not only are they delicious, soft and filling, but they're made with 8g whole grains, 2g protein, 2g fibre, REAL yogurt and are also a source of calcium.  So many wonderful nutritional benefits that are perfect as a mid-morning snack!  Not only that, they also meet the highest nutritional guidelines of school in Ontario, Saskatchewan, PEI and Quebec!

All Bear Paws flavours have 2g fibre, 8g whole grains, peanut-free, no aritificial colours or flavours, and are made with real fruit and/or yogurt.

I love how Bear Paws are conveniently packaged in individual pouches that makes it easy for me to place in lunches, take in the car, the park, or anywhere else we're going to.  Not only do the kids love them, but my hubby and I do too!

Bear Paws Morning Snacks have been a perfect mid-morning snack to help satisfy my kid's hunger instead of them relying on sugary cookies, chocolate and candies to munch on.  The Morning Snacks help keep their bellies full and keep their energy going so they can enjoy all the fun things they like to do like doodling on their magnetic boards, colouring, creating collages with stickers, painting, and so many other fun activities that kids like to do, and that are easier to keep up with when eating the right foods.  My kids love playing with Moon Sand lately and it's a great  morning activity to pair with a great morning snack.   It's so great to enjoy fun activities as a family and what better treat to pair with fun than Bear Paws!  I loved surprising the kids one morning with the new morning snacks and some fun activities!  Seeing the smiles on their faces was priceless and watching them create and use their imagination with all of the fun goodies was a thrill to see.

With peanut allergies being so common, and many schools now being peanut-free, it's important to have a peanut-free snack that is safe to pack in your child's lunch or backpack.  Being parents of a daughter with a severe peanut allergies means we know the importance of sending safe foods to school, and we're so thankful that we can rely on Dare to provide wholesome, peanut-free snacks that kids will enjoy at home and at school.    All Dare plants were nut-free/peanut-free facilities and actually were one of Canada's first peanut-free food manufacturers back in 2004.

Dare goes through great lengths to ensure that their products are safe, easily-recognizable as peanut-free and family friendly.  I know my family relies on Dare and many of their wonderful products, such as Bear Paws to satisfy many of our family's needs, and we feel confident in knowing that their products safe for our little girl too.

Be sure to head over to the all new Bear Paws Facebook page where you can connect, learn and share ideas with other moms.

Disclosure – I am participating in the Bear Paws Morning Snack “Feed the Fun” blog tour by enCompass Media on behalf of Dare. I received compensation as a thank you for participating and for sharing my honest opinion.
